Managing Partner

Dave grew up back east in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a fan of all Philadelphia sports.  He came to Utah to attend Brigham Young University where he earned his degree in Finance.  After graduating, Dave took a job with Ragnar Events, putting on distance running events all throughout the nation.  Dave was with Ragnar for 14 years starting his career as an accountant and spending the last 5 years as the CFO managing multiple departments including finance and accounting, customer service, and merchandising.  In late 2021, Dave played a major role in the sale of the company to FitLab, a strategic buyer in the health and wellness sector.

Dave currently lives in Farmington, UT with his wife Hailey and their four children.  He donates his time to local youth and church programs and loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, skiing, and boating.

Managing Partner

Rufus Frost was born and raised in Park City, UT. After graduating from Park City High School, Rufus attended McGill University in Montreal, QC where he played Men’s Varsity Lacrosse and earned his degree in Psychology and Economics.

Rufus then moved to Chicago, IL and began his career in management consulting, focusing primarily on profit improvement for healthcare clients. Shortly after, Rufus moved to Boston, MA where he continued in consulting, working on a mix of technology, operations, and post-merger integration engagements for a mix of mid and large cap (Fortune 100) clients in sports & media, software, healthcare, and financial services.

Rufus also serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees at the Frost Free Library, a library donated by his family to the town of Marlborough, NH in the mid-1800’s. Rufus now lives in Park City with his wife, Anna. He loves skiing, golfing, fly fishing, spending time with friends & family, and is a lifelong New England Patriots fan.

CEO, Founder

Originally from Seattle, Charlie attended and graduated from the University of Washington in 1985. During his high school and college years, Charlie spent his summers working at Maskell-Robbins which was an industrial pipe distribution company started by his father in 1975. After graduating from U of W, Charlie decided to make Maskell-Robbins his full time career.

Starting as a shop hand and field technician, Charlie worked his way through the ranks of the organization, where he became president of the company in 1998. During his tenure at Maskell-Robbins, Charlie helped the business become the nation’s largest distributor of HDPE pipe, while maintaining the largest rental fleet of HDPE welding equipment in North America.

In the fall of 1999, Maskell-Robbins completed a strategic acquisition and merged with Herning Enterprises. Charlie guided Maskell-Robbins through the merger and remained as its president until the fall of 2004.

In the Spring of 2004, Charlie received his MBA at the University of Washington’s Executive MBA program and then teamed up with Dolphin Capital Group, a private equity firm based in Park City, Utah (www.dolphincapitalgroup.com) to launch Sea to Ski Premier Home Management (www.seatoski.com)

Since the inception of the Park City operation, Sea to Ski has grown to additional locations in Telluride, Colorado; Sun Valley, Idaho; and looks to expand throughout resort communities in the Intermountain West and coastal communities of the Western U.S.

Charlie is married to his best friend and wife, Maura. They have two wonderful adult children, Allison and Cole.

Director of Client Relations, Managing Partner

Tierney joined Sea to Ski in 2006. She is a managing partner in the company, charged with overseeing client relations, concierge, and housekeeping.

Tierney received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and grew up in a small town near Madison, WI.

A longtime resident of Park City, Tierney raised her only son here, Matt, who is a recent graduate of UCLA. She loves the outdoor life that is quintessential to Park City and cannot imagine being anywhere else!

Director of Operations, Managing Partner

Scott Benson joined Sea to Ski Properties as a managing partner in July 2007, after a long career in Sales Management with Kraft Foods. Scott is primarily responsible for business development, daily operations, maintenance, and account management. “My passion is building strong relationships around quality products and services. We hope to create an exceptional service experience for Sea to Ski  clients that will provide value for years to come.”

When not managing properties, Scott is an avid golfer, skier, and hockey player. Scott has lived in Park City, Utah for many years with his wife and two children. While Park City has become home, Scott still remains loyal to the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. Scott is a graduate of DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
